Become a part of our family!

Senior adults gather daily at the Center for fellowship, coffee, lunch, fun, and activities, including dominoes, cards, bingo, Wii bowling, and crafts.

Periodically, there are special programs like home safety, fire prevention and safety, blood pressure checks, and chair exercise.

If you are not familiar with the Senior Center and your first contact with us is online, we would be pleased to hear from you!

Please let us know what your needs and questions are; we are more than happy to help.

PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES:

Congregate Meals

Hot, nutritious meals are served at the Senior Center Monday-Friday at 11:20 am. Though there is no charge for meals served to senior adults, 60 years of age or older, clients are given the opportunity to contribute toward the cost of meals.

Homebound Meals (Meals-on-Wheels)

For those seniors who are unable to leave their homes to come to the Center, meals are delivered to them.

For those who live inside the city limits, hot meals are delivered daily.

For those senior adults who live outside the city limits, but within Walker County, five (5) frozen meals are delivered weekly. There is no charge for the home delivered meals.

Contributions to help defray the cost
of the program are accepted and appreciated.
